Use cases
Simeon works best when each agent has one clear job. The Marketplace has ready-made teams of five agents for common kinds of work; add one to Simeon in a click, then rename the agents or change their jobs.
Ready-made teams
| Team | What the agents do |
|---|---|
| Coffee Shops | Stock, shifts, socials, customers and money |
| Founders | Design, marketing, engineering, inboxes and finance |
| Agencies | Projects, reports, new business, clients and billing |
| Freelancers | Inbox, proposals, invoices, time and leads |
| Creators | Ideas, scripts, sponsors, community and stats |
| Online Stores | Orders, support, products, stock and marketing |
| Real Estate Agents | Leads, listings, showings, deals and the market |
| Busy Professionals | Inbox, travel, errands, money and family |
The Marketplace has more, for salespeople, recruiters, law firms, accountants, landlords, contractors and salons.
First tasks to try
Each of these is a good first message. Change the details to fit your work.
Inbox
Every morning, sort my inbox. Reply to anything that only needs a yes or a date, flag what needs me, and give me a short summary at 9.
Finance
Match this month's transactions in QuickBooks, chase any invoice more than 14 days late with a friendly reminder, and tell me where the money went.
Travel
Find me the cheapest refundable flight from Seattle to LA tomorrow, landing before 2pm. Show me the options before booking.
Social media
Turn what we shipped this week into three posts for Instagram and LinkedIn. Show me the drafts and schedule the ones I approve.
Research
Find the ten companies most likely to need what we sell, with the right person to contact at each and why.
Tips for a good brief
- One job per agent. "Inbox" and "Finance" work better as two agents than one "assistant".
- Say where to stop. Tell the agent what it may do alone and what it should show you first.
- Teach it once. Correct the first results and ask the agent to remember how you like things done.
